The photograph
"White Dreams" pictures Haukland Beach, one of the best known beaches of the Lofoten Islands, Norway, in winter. The long exposure seascape is printed as a signed fine art print.
Snow and pale sand fill the lower half of the frame, and the waves melt into a white veil before they reach the shore. Behind them the bay glows turquoise between two snowy mountains, with a small rocky island in the middle and soft pink clouds drifting overhead. This is the Arctic at its gentlest, a light print for a bright room.
