The photograph
"Two Lights" captures the diamond ring of the total solar eclipse of August 2026 above the Artrutx lighthouse in Menorca, Spain, photographed from a sailing boat at sea and printed as a signed fine art print.
Totality has just ended: a first spark of sun breaks the dark ring of the moon and sets the clouds on fire in red and orange. Right below it, the lamp of the lighthouse shines with its own light, so for a few seconds the island and the sky answer each other. The shot was planned for a whole year with PhotoPills.
