The Watchtower

"The Watchtower" depicts an old stone tower on a low headland of the Sardinian coast, in Italy. It is a long exposure seascape, printed as a signed fine art print.

Pink and red clouds fill the sky, stretched into long strokes by the long exposure, and the same colours spread across the still water of the small cove below. Mediterranean scrub covers the foreground, and distant hills close the view across the sea. Towers like this one were built to watch these coasts, and here it simply watches the light.

Printed by me in Italy, only when you order, on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth: cotton paper with an almost silky touch. My own colour profiles for this paper, and a UV coating so colours do not fade. Signed by hand, with a natural white border ready for the frame. The frame is not included.
