The photograph
"The Village" looks down on Vernazza, one of the five villages of the Cinque Terre in Liguria, Italy, in a long exposure seascape taken at sunset and printed as a signed fine art print.
Colourful houses crowd onto a dark rocky spur with an old stone tower at its tip, while the church bell tower and the little harbour close the view on the right. Warm clouds drift over the open sea, and the long exposure softens the waves breaking under the cliff into a white mist. The Cinque Terre is one of the places I am most fond of in Italy.
