The photograph
"The Needle" places the slim tower of Goury Lighthouse, also called Phare de la Hague, in the middle of a Normandy sunset: a long exposure seascape from Cap de la Hague, France, printed as a signed fine art print.
The lighthouse stands alone on the horizon like a needle, under a sky that goes from orange to pink and violet. In the foreground the long exposure fills the spaces between the rocks with a soft mist, pink on one side and turquoise on the other, following the colors of the sky. It is a warm and peaceful print, with a lot of space for the eye to rest.
