The photograph
"The Lovers Bay" faces the Gulf of Poets from the shore of Lerici, in Liguria, Italy, in a long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.
Two rough rocks rise from water so smooth that it looks like glass, turquoise in the foreground and peach where it mirrors the sky. On the horizon the islands and the hills of the far shore turn into dark silhouettes under clouds lit in orange and pink. Long exposures are my way to slow the sea down and step away from the rush of everyday life.
