The photograph
"The Longest Minute" shows the total solar eclipse of August 2026 sitting right on top of the Artrutx lighthouse in Menorca, Spain, shot from a boat about 1.5 km from the lighthouse and printed as a signed fine art print.
Totality lasted one single minute. The moon covers the sun completely, a ring of orange light glows through thin clouds, and the lamp of the lighthouse is already on in the blue darkness. To stack the sun exactly above the tower there was only one possible point at sea, and the captain held the boat there despite a long swell.
