The photograph
"The Great Beauty" shows Manarola, the Cinque Terre village perched on a cliff above the sea in Liguria, Italy, in a long exposure photograph taken at sunset and printed as a signed fine art print.
Pink and yellow houses climb the rock above the tiny harbour, where small boats rest at the top of the slipway. The long exposure calms the water of the cove into a deep blue pool, while the sky and the open sea take on the pink of the last light. A tuft of green succulents on the rocks gives the foreground a touch of fresh colour.
