Sunset in Heaven

"Sunset in Heaven" is a winter sunset over a snowy fjord in the Lofoten Islands, Norway, photographed with a long exposure and printed as a signed fine art print.

Sharp white peaks rise on the left and drop straight into the water, which the long exposure has smoothed into a soft mirror for the mountains. On the right a small road and a row of red houses follow the shore, the only warm colour in all that snow. Above them the clouds stretch into long pink and orange streaks towards the mouth of the fjord.

Printed by me in Italy, only when you order, on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth: cotton paper with an almost silky touch. My own colour profiles for this paper, and a UV coating so colours do not fade. Signed by hand, with a natural white border ready for the frame. The frame is not included.
