The photograph
"Sunset Boulevard" is a long exposure photograph of the Kermorvan Lighthouse in Brittany, France, printed as a signed fine art print.
Its square stone tower waits at the end of a curved walkway, with the lamp already lit, while the clouds above the Atlantic turn pink and violet. The long exposure smooths the sea into a soft mirror of the sky and leaves only a trace of white foam around the dark rocks. Kermorvan is the first place where I saw what we nicknamed the Kermorvan Effect: a layer of medium clouds that lights up with color at sunset, something that has happened to me only a few times.
