Still

"Still" gives almost the whole frame to the sky above Petit Minou Lighthouse in Brittany, France, in a minimalist long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.

A wide grey ceiling of clouds is stretched into long streaks by the long exposure, and under it the turquoise sea has become almost flat. The small lighthouse, with its lamp lit and its stone bridge, sits low in the right corner as the only solid thing in the picture. I love how a long exposure can quiet a place down until it looks this still.
