The photograph
"Sol Lunae", Latin for the sun of the moon, shows a crescent sun during the solar eclipse of August 2026 next to the Artrutx lighthouse in Menorca, Spain, printed as a signed fine art print.
The moon has taken a large bite out of the sun, and what is left looks like a second moon in a sky painted orange. The black and white tower stands on the right with its lamp already lit, above a dark blue sea moved by the swell. Everything that matters lasts very little: that is why it is worth going out to get it in the middle of the sea.
