The photograph
"Pristine" greets the sunrise on a snow covered beach in the Lofoten Islands, Norway, in a long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.
Fresh snow covers the foreground, with a frozen pool of ice where the sea once reached the sand. Across the calm water a line of white mountains takes the first warm light, and the long exposure turns the clouds above into soft orange shapes. I love photographing in winter, when the days get short and the beaches are empty.
