The photograph
"Pillars" is a view of the sea stacks along the high cliffs of the Outer Hebrides, off the west coast of Scotland, in a long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.
The stacks rise like stone columns from a dark sea, and the long exposure draws the foam into long white lines that curl between them. A bright green cliff top closes the frame at the bottom, with a small pebble beach at the foot of the cliffs on the right. Above, pink and orange clouds sweep across a pale blue sky.
