The photograph
"Phare de la Hague" carries the French name of Goury Lighthouse, which stands on its rock off Cap de la Hague in Normandy, France. This long exposure seascape was made at sunset and is printed as a signed fine art print.
The sun goes down on the left through a gap in the clouds, while the tall grey tower stands on the horizon to the right. The long exposure turns the waves into a milky layer that covers the golden rocks of the foreground, and a soft trail of orange light crosses the water toward the camera.
