The photograph
"Emerald Bay" is a long exposure seascape of the small cove of Eco del Mare near Lerici, on the Gulf of Poets in Liguria, Italy, printed as a signed fine art print.
Two headlands covered in pines close the bay on both sides, and a small island sits on the horizon under a heavy grey sky. The long exposure flattens the sea into a pool of turquoise and emerald green, leaving only a soft white line where the water meets the beach. The Gulf of Poets is my beloved stretch of the Italian coast.
