The photograph
"Caligo" brings the pink light of sunrise over Playa del Silencio in Asturias, Spain, in a long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print. Caligo is the Latin word for mist.
A soft mist lies on the water, and the long exposure blends it with the sea into one silky surface, pink in the distance and turquoise near the shore. The first warm light touches the tall cliffs with their vertical layers of rock, while the curved beach closes the bay on the right. Ferns in the foreground frame the view from above.
