The photograph
"Byron Cove" is taken from the dark rocks of Byron's Cave, the Grotta di Byron in Portovenere, Liguria, Italy, and is a long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.
High cliffs covered in pines drop straight into a turquoise sea, and the coast fades into the low clouds in the distance. The long exposure smooths every wave, so the water flows in white ribbons between the layered slabs of rock in the foreground. Green and turquoise are the colours of this corner of the Italian Riviera.
