The photograph
"Blizzard" records a snowstorm on the cliffs of Arnarstapi, on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in west Iceland, in a long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.
Falling snow draws soft streaks across the heavy sky, and a white layer covers the top of the dark basalt cliffs on the right side of the frame. The long exposure blends the waves into a turquoise and white haze that fills the whole bay. It is a cold and moody image of winter in Iceland, where the weather decides everything.
