The photograph
"Alone" places a small group of sea stacks in the middle of a turquoise sea off Liencres, near Santander in Cantabria, Spain: a minimalist long exposure seascape printed as a signed fine art print.
A storm covers the sky with a flat wall of grey, and under it the sea turns an intense turquoise. The long exposure smooths the water and leaves only thin white trails around the rocks, so the eye goes straight to the stacks, the only solid thing in the whole picture. Sometimes a photograph needs very little.
